Our facilities are designed to power students’ curiosity, development and inspire learning and connection. The John Paul II campus is surrounded by green open space and ideally suited for adventure and play. Our outdoor spaces encourage children to explore and be creative, with a mixture of traditional playground equipment, a bike track and loose parts play equipment. Students are encouraged to use their imagination to create and engage.
In 2021 we opened our brand-new Early Learning Centre, with spacious classrooms and a beautifully designed outdoor nature play area. All of our classrooms are purposefully designed to be age appropriate, with separate break out spaces for small group activities.
For children who need additional assistance, we have private spaces where our Support Teachers, School Counsellors and resident Psychologist who can offer individual support for students in a safe and caring environment.
The John Paul II Catholic Church is also on site and a very special part of the School. It is a place where we gather as a school community to nourish and celebrate children’s faith and to know, love and serve God.
As part of the School’s masterplan, Emmaus, our modern multi-purpose activity centre, opened in 2023. Designed to spark connection and creativity, Emmaus features specialist spaces for Art, Music and Drama, along with a kitchen and dining hall. This welcoming centre provides a safe space for students to connect, play and explore before and during the school day.
Our new School Library is the beating heart of John Paul II, featuring a large teaching area, architecturally designed learning environments, and a vibrant reading room. It offers an extensive collection of books and resources, supports extension programs and serves as a nurturing space for students during breaks and after school.
