Our Kinder program runs three days a week, complemented by the Ludo Program on the remaining two days, ensuring a well-rounded start to early education.

Literacy and numeracy
In many schools, literacy and numeracy is not part of the Kinder curriculum. At John Paul II, we focus on early development in literacy and numeracy skills.
- Children are immersed in sound and language at a younger age than their peers.
- All our teachers are trained in literacy skills development.
- Equipped with research on the science of reading, students develop strong reading skills.
- Children develop thinking and problem-solving strengths through numeracy.
Play-based learning
The School has purpose-built indoor and outdoor play spaces that help children discover their own interests, abilities and limitations through play. Children have the space to explore and be creative with the playground equipment, bike track and purpose-built playground.
Setup for Success
A great first step to joining our School community.
Setup for Success is a free, fun and engaging program for children from birth to five years old. Held every Friday from 9.00am to 10.30am in our Early Learning Centre, families are invited to connect, play and learn together in a welcoming environment.
Children develop key early learning skills, while parents and carers get to know other families and become part of our community.
Kinder applications for 2027 are now open and filling fast
We have been very happy with our decision to attend John Paul II, our children are always excited about attending school. We have been very impressed with how the staff around the whole school get to know your child by name. We feel at ease knowing our children are attending a school which provides a nice personal touch for each child. We love being a part of the safe, warm and welcoming school community that John Paul II offers.
