The Curriculum

The Curriculum at John Paul II Catholic School is based on the Australian Curriculum for Prep to Grade 6. Kindergarten uses the ‘Early Years Learning Framework’ to plan rich and engaging play based learning opportunities. As a Catholic School, Religious Education forms the building blocks of our curriculum. Religious Education is planned using the ‘Good News for Living Refresh’ framework and the RE achievement standards. The ‘Making Jesus Real’ program also forms an important part of our Religious Education program.
